What is the round, dime sized vent looking thing on dash by temp controls

    What is this thing?

It is a secret listening device the government forced BMW to install on all their cars due to a treaty signed in 1945 after WWII. Be aware that this is how the CIA gets its information on all covert activities of nazi sympathysers!
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

That is the place for the sensor for the HVAC systems that have actual "Climate Control", which one day my damn car WILL have!

That is what it looks like. It looks like it is for in cab temp, but I don't have climate control. Thanks.

Do you talk to your dashboard?

                      Nope, won't work.

If anything, the noise canceling feature of all BT mics require that the mic be able to pickup ambient noise, so they cannot be even flush mounted!

                      Ask me how I know.

                      Closing SOON!

Yes, you can, but why would you? Mine works great...but this thread was about that sensor location...go figure, another thread derailed on R3V.
