    Rear End Noises...

So I have been driving the car for the first week, as it just passed inspection last friday. While driving I've noticed a whining type noise, but lower than a whine, coming from the rear end (i think) that gets higher as my speed increases, not as the RPMs do. It gets quiet from about 50 to 55 but is louder again before and after that speed. Another thing the car does, is when I let off the throttle completely and just coast in gear it is sorta jumpy, and when I hit the gas slowly it jumps forward multiple times in a row. I think all these things are either being caused by a worn tranny (:() or a worn diff (time for an LSD 8)). Ideas?

Huh... alright well for a while I thought it was the exhaust since its kinda low, but then I realized it wasn't since it got higher with the speed and not the RPMs. Hmmmm
