    Got my flywheel

Plus OEM Sachs Clutch kit. :)

Couldn't find a cheap enough place to lighten AND balance.
Most places wanted $80 for lightening and another $100 for computer balancing. I also couldn't get a stock 325i flywheel for under $60.
Got this little beauty for $400. 8lb Turner/JBRacing Flywheel

oh, this is also an M3 Flywheel, so it's equipped with the Ignition Trigger... which may or may not come in handy some day...

That could be a bad thing man.

Some guy (nitrosomethingorother) got an M3 flywheel by accident and it was "thicker" than a 325i flywheel, and so the throwout bearing couldn't pull away enough. So the clutch was always partially engaged.

            hmm...
Peter at BPG said it should work...
I'll call Turner and see if they can measure the width of a 325i Flywheel.
I know the diameter is the same though and the 325i pressure plate and clutch fit it.
            I'll measure mine too.

Why don't you call BPG who sold you the flywheel or just call JB Racing and ask him directly if it will work? Why bother Turner who you didn't spend money with?

                  Bill is right, haha.

If it took you 13hours to do the timing belt... I estimate no less then 36 hours to do the flywheel.

                        douchebag.
This will take me 3 hours max... (helps to work for BMW and Porsche...)

unlike the 3 years it took you to get your E30 roadworthy.

well, I'll just exchange it rather than going through the trouble of calling people and measuring and shit.

If BPG can't exchange it, I can probably get Turner to exchange it... but I bet BPG can exchange it for me.

oh, and Bill, thanks for the heads up. You saved me alot of time and frustration.
