Difficulty to change broken rocker arm?

How much effort and/or how long does it take to swap a broken rocker arm for a new one? Are they all equally accessible?

Judging from the extreme vibration and tick, I'm pretty sure I broke one during autocross today. Probably deserve it, bouncing a 292k km motor off a 6950 redline for much of the run. The run itself was awesome though, best time of the day (luckily the last, too).

bastid Chris. I would have, and tried to.....except for the fact it was the first thing I would have done to the car.....not even changed the oil yet. :?

some people swear you can change it out without removing the head......I tried and failed. The main problem was not being able to slide the rocker arm shaft out, not it clearing the radiator.

Just plan on removing the head. And have fun.

As long as you pull the radiator out, it can be done in the car. I've had to do it WAY too many times...
