    Fog Light wiring

My stock fogs were inoperable. When I did the bumper swap, I found out why - the wiring was obviously not original and was falling apart.

Now that I have the new valance and fogs installed, I need to get these wired up. My car originally came with fogs, so these should splice in somewhere, but my question is where? The diagrams in the Bentley are not helpful becuase they do not have the fogs in them.

Does anyone have a wiring diagram for the fog lights or some advice for me? THanks!

    the wiring diagram is messed.

I gave up tryin to fiqure it out and im gonna re-wire them myself.

I want them to come on separately, not with the low beams.

I dont wanna have my hids on all the time

Id scan the diagram, but i dont have a scanner

What's the production date of your car?

I spent about 3 hours on my fogs last week. btw it is a post facelift 325i. When I jumper the high side of the relay on the fuse block I get lights (post 37 and 80 I believe), my f-light switch is continuous when on (it is on the ground side of the low side of the relay). I have a brand new hella relay and I cannot get them to work. I think the f-light switch may be in series with the head light switch, but will not be sure until I get back into it. Your right, the bentley is sorely lacking in the electrical department. It suprised me as the bentley wiring diagram for my VW was always spot on and had big two-page spreads of the circuit diagrams with correct wire colors even. oh well.
