    head gasket thickness dif?

    ok, i'm fixing to replace my head gasket since i have the head off (the one on there looks perfect, but i figure i should change it anyway) i'm looking on bmaparts.com, and there are 2 dif types of head gaskets i can get,, there is a stander, then there is another one that is 0.3 MM thicker.. and about 12 bucks more, whats the dif? would if benifit me to buy the thicker gasket??

    Thicker head gasket is to keep the CR stock with a resurfaced head.

      off this topic but not worth starting a thread for. i fucked up my head, bought another, and will be installing shortly, i bought some head gasket sealing grease, was this a waste of $11?

        Blue sticky stuff ?

        Nope, use a light coating of it between the bores, works well :)

          Got it from pelican parts, didn't get to take a look at its color yet. Just apply it in between the bores? what about around the edges?
