    gas leak fill up

so i replaced my fuel pump just recently and doubt it has anything to do with this problem, but recently whenever i fill my car up with gas there is severe leaking out the bottom of the car, driver side, but then when i start the car and drive off the leaking stops....wwwtfff

Did you put a new o ring in when you installed the pump?
The difference between porcupines and BMWs is that porcupines have the pricks on the outside!

Pull the rear seat and the access plate(s) for the pump/level sensors and fill the car. If they are the cause of the leak it wll be very obvious. If you have a 318 or early 325i/is/e/es with the 55l tank, you'll only have an access plate on the right side.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.
