Ebrake Solution needed...

Hey Guys,

I had one of my ebrake springs come loose and destroy my pads. I need to replace the one of the retaining springs and possibly the pin. Suggestions? I'm really not in need of another spring kit (2-3 week wait). I just wondered if anyone had dealt with this problem before?

You've prolly destroyed the shoes, not pads. Cuz those look like the springs for the drum shoes. I've seen a case or two of those things happening on old toyotas. Time to hit the local pull-a-part.
