What is the difference between the factory 2 piece sunroof seal, and the one piece (pn 54-12-1-903-725)? They both appear to equal the same length...

one of them has 2 peices the other only has 1, therefore one of them has 2 splits where they come together and the other only has 1.
i also hear the 1 peice is a little thickerYour signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

To me, a one piece will leave only one potential leak source at the joint, versus having two meeting points. Is it used for the glass sunroof? Is it actually thicker? Thats what I'm wondering...for those in the know...Comment
