Let me rephrase the question. Since I already understand that there is a one piece and a two piece seal.....What is the difference? i.e. WHY did they make a one piece seal if the cars rolled off the line with a two piece?
To me, a one piece will leave only one potential leak source at the joint, versus having two meeting points. Is it used for the glass sunroof? Is it actually thicker? Thats what I'm wondering...for those in the know...
