stubborn antenna mast ...

I,ve got a broken antenna that I can rob the belt out of if you want. I have two in fact that the circuit board is fried or something as I can get the motor to work if I put power to it directly, but nothing if it goes through the circuit board. I have also refurbished a corroded antenna before by soaking it in spray lube and hitting the top out with a cressant wrench and getting the motor to move a little at a time to give you some slack to be able to extend the rod. It was a PITA and I wondered if it was worth it in the end, but it works very well if you have more time than money!

That would be killer if you I could get one of those from you. I am going to check with a couple of the local craft shops, cause I have seen some belts there before. Most likely they won't have it, but I'll give it a shot anyways.

For the antenna, I am going to take one more shot tonight at trying to loosen it up, if it doesn't work, I am just going to pick one up from BMA ($16) and call it good.

joshuaaa: I sent josh anderson a pm last night asking about the stubby antenna and he didn't know where it was from, as he took it off of a parts car he had.

yeah that would be great if you could, I'll keep looking too .. see where that takes me.
