Newbie Questions

Hi I have 2 questions. 1. I asked yesterday about my Tach dropping out when shifting but it was the speedo. When I push in the clutch the speedo briefly drops to zero and then pops back upo. Can this be fixed?

2. I was trying to order a K&N filter and I was asked if the car has a round or square AFM. How do I find this?

The AFM has a square opening, so you need an adapter to the round opening on the K&N. The gauge cluster issue seems to be an SI board problem, my need to change the SI board batteries. There are threads about these buried around, if you want to know more. Welcome to r3v!

If you are lucky the speedo problem will be the speedo sensor wire on the back of the differential. After I did a poor job repairing and crimping the wires together on my e30, the speedo needle would move around depending on the load on the rear diff...I dunno...its fine now after I rewired it.
