Hi- New member to the board

Just got my e30 yesterday n wow i had some bad luck with it, the guy told me a bunch of crap which lead to my car overheating n a waterpump breaking. I have some issues with the car that I want to know whats wrong with it.

    issues:
-Power door/mirror doesnt work what can it be?
-the manual sunroof doesnt work, i crank it but its not grabbing
-where can i get a Temp sensor at?
-My anti-lock light is on where can i get his checked out?
-MY obc keeps acting wiered it doesnt work but it flashes random numbers
-My speedometer works once in a while it would just randomly stop working.
    -My cig lighter doesnt work
    -

Thanks n just lmk im loving the car its way better then my old 240sx

you can take the sunroof crank apart easily, just look at it. temp sensor or any parts are easiest to get at the dealer unless you wanna wait and pay shipping, then go pelicanparts or bavauto .com. OBC just press hard on the whole keypad/screen/the whole obc and it should go back to normal.

I like looking for parts like your temp sensor (non-wear parts) in the junkyards. Do a google search on BMW or import car salvage / auto recycling yards in your area.

Check the speedometer connection on the back of the differential. Sometimes the plug can be loose or wires can be broken.

It would be nice if the lighter and mirror fuses was broken, but im not usually that lucky. You can check this under the hood of the car so they would be easy to replace. Another option is take apart the center console (not too hard) and check that the power/ground connections are properly attached to the lighter.

So your lack of cigarette lighter power cost you $100 bucks, shitty! haha

The anti-lock light is probably just a blown fuse in the ABS relay from someone jump-starting the car improperly. Don't do anything until you check that out first.

For Florida? I believe that climate calls for 20w50.

                  Which model do you have?

Definitely to light of a weight for your climate. Try 20w50.
