dashboard rattle

anyone come up with a good way to tighten up the center portion of dash where radio sits. Mine is pretty f*ckin annoying over big bumps.

Isn't there a list somewhere of common items to check for rattles on the e30 dash?

I know I can't expect a 20yr old car to be 100% solid, but mine seems to make alot of noise each time I cross a decent bump.

im not sure what kind of rattle you have. you can try a thin piece of rubber between some of the plastic parts.

mine makes alot of noise between the e-brake console and shift console

My e-brake console and shift console are really tight together, most of the rattles seem to be coming from the main dash itself. Pressing and holding the various surfaces/parts don't seem to help, so it seems to be something under the dash?
