    Factory sports suspension or not?

    Question.

Would it be better to have a 325i without the sports suspension and modified with aftermarket springs etc

    or

would it better to have it stock sports suspension from the factory?

I just want to drop the car a bit in the future and have it handle better.

Would love to hear from guys with IS suspension

versus someone who later got one with a regular suspension and went aftermarket.

    Thx

    better with new/aftermarket parts

the only difference in the "is" suspension is the shocks, and why bother with 20+ year old shocks?

dead serious, the front LOOKS lower due to the bigger/lower lip

supposedly there is a small change in how progressive the spring rate is, but I think the whole argument is moot with old parts...

I agree, and you would not know just exactly how worn the old stuff is
