After searching and finding key cylinder rebuilds and CDL unit installs I need to know some other info.
Right now, I can't lock or unlock my passenger door at all. Not from driver door, trunk (locking never worked from trunk) and the key doesn't turn at all in pass. door lock.
Also, my driver door lock shit the bed tonight. I used to have to go 90degrees all the time because the door wouldn't lock at all at 45 degrees. I can't lock the driver door at all. Not with key, not by pushing door lock down.
I took the door panel off and there is a circular connector at the bottom of the door with nothing going into it. What is that? Also, if I shut the door latch manually as it would be with the door shut, and reach around the inner door and push the plunger down, the door will lock, but not with the key.
So... do I need a CDL unit AND a lock cylinder? Do I need more? Why won't the trunk lock? Should I just do a keyless entry thing?
Thanks
