    Oil pan differnce

    I have a 91 bmw 325i.
i cracked my oil pan like about a month ago and went to a european shop and said that these models dont take the oil pan with the oil level sensor...
the one the car had on didnt have a sensor. but my question is

Can i put the oil pan with the sensor on my e30 or do i HAVE to get the oil pan with out the sensor?? or can i put any m20 oil pan on my m20

Any m20 pan should work. As far as the sensor, there is an early round plug model and the later ones are a square plug.
