    Starting bad 12 volt contact

Well my car has sat a bit and twice in the last two days it wouldn't crank over. 1st time it acted like a bad battery contact. Starter just clicking but not spinning over. Battery contacts good in the trunk. After putting a charge on battery car started fine. Next morning car starts up fine. Drive two miles to station and same thing. Starting clicking bit not spinning. It cranked over by turning on headlights. I'm thinking my engine bay contacts are bad. Anyone get corrosion there? I put headlights on while cranking to get more amperage . Thanks..

This could be a problem with the starter, or a problem with the engine to body ground or low battery. I'd investigate the latter two before going for the starter.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Starter was put in a year ago. I was wondering about engine to ground also. Will check connections on engine to ground plus clean connections on junction box on firewall. Take it from there.
      Thanks.
