Central Locking Control Unit Location?

can you tell me where the Central Locking Control Unit is located?
I am trying to get mine back up and running

what year and model? mine was under front driver side speaker.

it's an 89 325IC

It should be in the left (drivers) side kick panel down and slightly to the rear of the speaker.

Figure 2 on page 113 of the electrical troubleshooting manual shows where it is.
