    Springs between models...

I have a set of springs and shocks from a 91iC. I want to put them onto my 87 eta. The thing I know is different is that the springs from the iC are a little stiffer than the ones intended for the eta. Will the difference be that noticable, on the track and appearance wise? Would I be better off selling the springs and buying the ones intedended for my car? Or, is the difference super minimal?

    thanks

      Eleventy thousand.

      No one has the answer.

What kind of springs are they?

I always thought all the springs were the same.

Throw the stiffer ones on. They won't make your ride go to hell, and every little bit stiffer is just that much better IMO

Relax man, you have to give posts a little time. This isn't DTM, we don't have a billion members.

well usually there is someone around who knows it, and i found it a little strange that nobody repsonded.

the springs on the convertible are eibach pros with bilstein sport shocks. i am just going to swap out the whole strut for now, and eventually either buy some h&r or just leave it. the only thing that i think will be different is the ride height. with the stiffer spring the ride will be a little taller. and since i am dropping weight from my car, the ride height will be even more off. does the height really matter to much in autox, or is it really just the stiffer spring?

Are the springs just stiffer, or are they taller?
