I just spoke to Mark, he IS making the M42 chips. They are currently for the 175 ECU, if there are others, he said he can create a similar mapping for them in 3 weeks to a month, shorter time if there is greater interest.

I asked him a long time back, like 5 months ago, he said he would get to it when he had the time. Guess he's got it now! Good stuff.

I'm interested on the M42 chip... let me know details.

"See, we're adding a little something to this month's sales contest. As you all know, first prize is a Cadillac Eldorado. Anyone wanna see second prize? Second prize is a set of steak knives. Third prize is you're fired."

Did anyone ever get Marks Chips? I'm just doing a search on chips, and the reivew on marks chips sound pretty crazy? So did he ever make the chips for the M42?

Yeah just e-mail him, he has one for the 4-banger.

As a side note since I made this thread I have a 3rd generation chip, the same one I mentioned that was in the works. Take what I said here and add 20% more of the difference, especially in the midrange.

Next up is a chip designed for 94 octane only. I think I'll start a new thread gauging interest on that.

                          Hey guys,

I have a MarkD chip in my 318iS (M42) and it is great! You can find my review of it posted in the long MarkD Chip thread started by Rob a while back I think in this section of the forum.

He is making them as far as I know, just email and ask him, if not, maybe try a PM here on the board.

                          Pete
