this is the reason i wasn't able to attend bimmerfest east. hot coolant on my legs. how did this happen? the heater valve broke. it was a pain to remove the coolant hose from the firewall on 24V swapped cars. good thing i was able to walk under the car and unscrew the clamp and didn't have to deal with removing the intake manifold.
anyone have a good used heater valve for sale? what is the best way to bleed the cooling system (s50 engine)? heater core should be good. thanks.
