whats happened to my car?

heres the issue:

the aux. fan on my 86 325e wont turn off. doesnt matter what the engine temp is, doesnt matter if the a/c is switched on or off (my a/c isnt charged anyways) and it doesnt matter if my car is running or not. the fan only turns off when i remove fuse 18 (havent tried any others).

im banging my head against the wall with this thing! ive been up for 24 hours, im exhausted, and i need my car, i dont need the battery drained from this.

someone please help me.

My fist suspect would be the fan relays.

which ones are those. i cant seem to find them in my bentley or on parts websites

there is one relay on the fan, where the wires go in. That one has broken on me before.

being beyond tired, i managed to re-read the manual and locate the relay. removed and replaced it being that it was easier than looking at the resistor, and that fixed it. for now.

and yes, it is hotter than the sin from hell. today was about 116. last night was 100 all night.
