    Water in Passenger side floor!!

I just recharged my A/C with R12 last week and it has been working well since then. Gets nice and cold.

Today I had a passenger in my car and he tells me "Where dis all this water come from!?!" I lifted the rubber mat and the carpet is all wet.

This is the first time in years that the A/C system has been recharged and working. The lady that had it before me said she never did anything to it once it stopped working because she did not use the A/C.

This never happened (to my knowledge) before I had the A/C fixed either.

Is there a condensate drain in behind the HVAC panel that could be clogged? Anyone ever experience this?

It is possible your drain for the condenser is not in the trannnie tunnel and could be pissing down the side. Happened to me..

Happened to me, too. The drain pipe on the A/C separated. It's was a quick fix. Just slide the tube back together. It's under the carpet, at the shifter console on the passenger side. I was convinced a buddy had spilled a drink there. Oops.

thank you for all your help guys.

I looked under the car this morning witht he AC running....water dribbles out the driver side, but not the passenger side...so there's my answer.

I tried poking it with a wise from underneath the tunnel but no luck....I will approach it from the inside tomorrow morning.

        Thanks again, gentlemen!
