I've seen numerous Mecedes wheels that are half wood/half leather crack, but the cracks go the opposite way. I'm talking about new, low mileage stuff. I got a wood wheel on my e30, and so far so good.

Go to an exotic woodsmith, ask them.

          My .02:

Go to West Marine and get MAS, Gudgeon or System 3 epoxy. They sell it in small trial containers. You can also pick up a syringe to inject into this seam. Clamp it down, but not so much that it squeezes all the epoxy out and wait for it to cure. Obviously, you need to clean off any excess immediately that squeezes out or you will have a nasty mess that will make the current crack look good.

          Good luck.
