HELP with NASTY blower motor noise....

I've just recently put together a 4dr 325e for my lil step sis.. It's all ready for inspection with except the damn blower motor makes this NASTY grinding noise whenever i turn the dial to 3, and worse on 4... we've adjusted it as good as we can, and it still continues...
Has anyone else run in to this? Was it installed wrong? I'd really like to get this thing quieted down so she doesn't have to hear a horrible buzz/grind every time she wants heat :( Thanks ya'll

You replace the blower motor as a whole. They are not rebuildable. In the cowl under the hood. Time to get intimate with your car..

Sometimes mine makes an aweful noise, but I just turn it off and try again. It usually works....
            Good luck with yours.

I just changed mine and it made the same noise. I trimmed the plastic in the center of the cover and it went away. Sounds fine now.
