    That damn rear axle nut.

Any tips short of soaking it in solvent an pounding on it with an impact wrench?

I was working on it with a breaker bar but Its stronger than I am.
    Im now E30less.

It's called an impact socket attached to at 3/4" breaker buy with a 6 foot cheater bar attached.

Used to have to do this with Forklifts and semi wheels and Abrams stuff.

Cheater bar equals a big steel pipe like a chain link fence pole.

Do you have the locking metal collar removed? I would think this would be the only thing in your way from using simple hand tools. I had one, one time that I couldn't even see that it was still on there, hiding under the rust it was a real bear to get out.

            Came off with the nut.
I got it all. New axles later hopefully I can avoid the exploding CVs syndrome.
