Water pooling up in front on drivers side

I have water coming into my car I cleared my front drains on the sunroof and i still had water. I thought it was the rear drain but that doesn't explain why there is always water in the front in front of the drivers seat and the other side is damp but not soaking. my dad felt around the front of the drivers side and on the side going up to the firewall.
Could this be something with the windshield or something else?
