      Remove the exhaust and drive shaft. Disconnect the lines on the left side of the tank and the filler hose from the bottom and the connections on the left and right side from the top along with the vent hose. Then remove the four bolts that hold the tank in.
      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

        how do i remove the driveshaft. i have a brace that run the lenght of the tank and cover were the shaft and diff meet?

          Unbolt each end of the drive shaft and the bolts that mount the center support bearing. The drive shaft and CSB will come out as a unit. It may be necessary to loosen the collar nut on the drive shaft and partially collapse it to gain room to drop the drive shaft.
