How much is my M42, Tranny and 4.10 LSD Worth?

Hi All,

I am close to buying the parts for my S52 swap. To help finance it I want to put the engine, transmission and LSD for sale while its still in the car. That way anyone who's interested can drive, listen etc. the drive train before buying.

So when I say "runs great, tranny is tight, clutch is good, etc." I can back it up and hopefully get more for them.

The engine runs perfect, no smoke, no leaks, just passed e-test (Canadian emissions test) pulls strong has 205 KM on it.

Transmission is tight, no grinding, no slack in gear, clutch is excellent, no leaks.

The diff is an original 4.10 LSD option (VIN verified).

My question is, how much is it worth? and Is this the best way to sell them?

I am hoping for somewhere in the $600 to $700 Canadian range.

lsd by itself is worth a couple hundred, if everything is solid on the tranny and engine $700 should be easily obtainable to the right person. good luck

I've done the same exact thing twice. Complete engine, could be inspected under power, compression test, etc.

I was only able to get $600 out of the 109k mile engine/trans or so, parted out. Diff is worth around $200.
