    Uh... I have a question.

Just bought a new battery last week and now something is eating my battery and nothing is on. What could it be?

sounds like you have a constant draw from somewhere. Hook up a multimeter to your car and go over every fuse. I cant remember the actual value but Im pretty sure there should be only like a .7ma draw constantly. Dont quote me on that. check all your fuses though with the car off and see what fuse is drawing power with no key on.

Could be a bad alternator if it isn't a drain. Engine is running off the battery and not charging it. With the car running, check the voltage at the battery. Should be around 14V or so. If it's not, the alternator is charging.

To check for a drain, hook an amp meter inline with one of the battery cables. Then, start pulling fuses until the reading drops. That circuit is the one that is draining the battery.

.7mA is a very low load; anything up to 20-30mA is probably okay.

check trunk light switch and glove box light switches to make sure they are shutting off.

Thanks, guys. I'm looking into it now. Gotta get a jump. Lol. I'm not sure about the glove box though because I haven't been able to get the damn thing open. I'm checking all this stuff out though. Oh and xLibelle's a wise man. We're brothers.
