Im buying a 4.11 lsd off a 325is automatic with 12k on it for 100 bucks, as long as i pull it myself. Im just trying to pull the pumpkin, so what all am i gonna need to do to pull it? I've never done it before so i just wanna know before i show up to pull it.

I am not sure why a pumpkin is involved.
Pull the speed connector. Unbolt the big diff mount bushing. Unbolt the halfshafts. Unbolt the driveshaft (four bolts). Then, undo the four bolts above the subframe going into the diff with a jack under it so it doesn't fall on your face/limbs. -

You will need open-ended wrenches (19mm for the four subframe bolts), and you will probably want a cheater bar and maybe a BFH. I had a very hard time with the subframe and driveshaft bolts, be prepared.paint sucksComment

youre almost guaranteed a fun time with the diff subframe bolts unless someones had them out recently. others are right, bring a breaker bar and open ended wrenches, and be ready to not get it out nearly as easy as you thought you would.Comment

alright sounds good. i shall find the largest hammer i can and a big ass cheater bar. yeah i keep thinking its 4.11 for some reason instead of 4.10. dunno why
