    Convertible Top Folding

This is a question for all the other cabrio owners out there...

How exactly do you fold the top? I know it sounds stupid, and most likely is, but I'm actually afraid that i'm not folding the damned thing correctly.

Basically, the reason I feel this way is that if i just plain lower the top without any manipulation, a big cloth section sticks out over the top of the rear seats.. I have to go and fold this section in while lowering the top. This is the section that would be at the first joint, front to back.

Am I doing it wrong or is it just like that?

Instructions are on the sunvisor. Or from the manual
The soft top must be stored in a series of regular folds, making sure that the rear window is neatly stowed without creases.

The rear bow should first be lowered completely into the storage compartment. To avoid scrating the rear window a soft cloth should be placed in the fold formed by the window.

Please, that would be awesome. Not to mention that I would be eternally grateful.

            Top folding

You need to fold the rear window with a towel inside it, and yes, you need to fold the fabric and straps in by the joints/rods in the fabric. What happens is that the straps get old and hard and make it bulge out when folding the top. If you push the straps in when the top is 3/4 folded, it will not have the extra cloth hanging outward when stowing. Once again, use a soft cloth towel on the outside of the window when folding it down to protect and help it not get creases.
