    Windows won't roll down

    Hey guys, i searched for an answer to my problem but couldn't find anything.

    Anyways, A couple of months ago my battery died and when i replaced it all three of my passenger windows would not work. The driver window works fine. I checked all the fuses and did not find a blown one. Does anyone know what might be the problem? I don't want to just start digging into shit with out any prior knowledge for fear of mucking up the situation ever more.

    Cliffs: Battery died -> Replaced battery -> All windows cease to work except driver window.

      try replacing the non-functioing switches with the switch that works

      often times its the switch thats screwy and not the motor & regulator

          Are the switches still illuminated? Do they dim when you try and roll one of the stuck windows down?

              did you try "ctrl + alt+ delete" that fixxes most things with windows

                      The best fix for any windows problem is to insert a Fedora installation DVD, reboot, and follow the on-screen instructions.
                      The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

                          try pushing the blank button either on the dash or near the window switch buttons. it probably got pushed out and you have to push it back in. its the window kill switch.

                              All the switches are still illuminated. Its not the window switch breaker because the driver window still works.

                              i can hear a very faint noise coming from the door when i push the passenger window switch. This leads me to believe that it is a motor. Is there anyway i can confirm this without taking the door apart?

                                              will do, it might be a little while though, due to semester starting and me having no money. I wish my dad had never given away my parts car.
