    coolant light on. what sensor do i need to replace

    my coolant light on my upper thing with all the lights is on. the bottle is full and the gauge reads fine. what sensor do i need to repalce?

        Mine does the same thing. But only when the fan is not working or on.

          Mine did that. I replaced the coolant level sensor part # 61-31-1-378-320 (for 325i 87-91) and it was fixed!

            or you could just wire the two wires together that connect to the sensor, all that light means is that your level is low, or the sensor is broken.
