    removing old tint

    i need to rmove my old tint because its purple and turning old. anyone know what chemicals to use? ive tried a razor blade and its working fine but its to time consuming. thanks.

    I read somewhere that if you spray ammonia on it, cover it (on the inside) with a black plastic garbage bag and let it sit in the sun for a couple of hours or so, it will peel right off, with very few troubles.

    EDIT: I've also read that Simple Green, 409 and soapy water will accomplish the job using the above technique.
