So I swapped my fuel pump, fuel filter, and fuel pump relay with brand new OEM parts. Good news is I can get it to start (although it doesn't always start but it starts most of the time) but the bad news is it is running wierd. I took some videos maybe you guys can tell if its the injectors or starter or something else.
I think I am going to sea foam it, and maybe replace the injectors.
CRANK YOUR SPEAKERS UP THE AUDIO IS LOWW
also, the videos are not popping up for me yet...give them a little to propogate
this first video it starts up nicely but with the check engine light on(was never on before I started having problems) but it goes off after it idles for a minute...notice it idles fine and revs fine.
now here is what i dont understand, this video was 30 seconds later and it starts running rough and idle bouncing over 1k...how does it go from nice clean running to running awful and sounding like its going to cut out?
when i replaced the fuel pump i looked in the tank and scraped the bottom with a clothes hanger and i did see SOME sediment at the bottom, but it was very minuscule and I could still see most of the bottom of the fuel tank.
possible suspects: injectors...but if they were clogged wouldn't it be constantly running rough or not start at all?
ICV...don't think so...even when rev'n ill notice it to stagger
ECU - ???
head is blown?
battery/electrical - ?
this is becoming a pain in the ass
