    Cluster Blinker light doesn't work

Left blinker works fine on the front bumper and rear tails, but in the cluster it doesn't work. No fast blinking, blinks at the correct speed, just doesn't light up. I replaced the bulb in the cluster in an effort to fix it, but I still have the same problem.

The brights light doesn't come on either.

The right blinker works perfectly in all 3 locations.

    Any ideas? Where to start?

Fuses? Maybe a run in the board needs to be soldered?

not a fuse -- because all the other lights in the cluster work. It must be a run in the board. Good luck trying to find that!

My left blinker light on the cluster does not come on. I've replaced the bulb too. The tach is also jumpy.

So in answer to your question....I don't know whats wrong, but I have the same problem.

Sorry to bump such an old thread but I am having similar problems as bimmerista. My tach is until i get in the 4th and 5th gears and my left cluster blinker light doesn't light up but all exterior lights work fine. I was going to just replace the bulb and figured the tach thing is what it is but after reading through some threads it seems like it could be a run in the board. Oh, and my gas gauge sits at full 90% of the time otherwise it fluctuates around 1/2-full. It used to jump all around until the sender was replaced but now it just sits. Are all these issues probably cluster related? I am not electrical savvy enough to figure this out so am I better off buying a new cluster?

Yep...take out your cluster and examine them under a magnifying glasses for cracks. Re-solder any damage. Check your SI board/batteries. Lastly, clean the two grounds on the board and make sure the nuts are tight.
