Nice, the Amsoild mp is exactly what I'm looking for. Thanks. Is this only available online?

Checked out the SUV forums. Seems like fluid film is a pretty good product similar to amsoil mp. I might check that out. Just buy a gallon and apply with a garden sprayer.

i spent about an hr today coating the wheel wells and underbody w this stuff. wasnt too bad. it was a little too thick to spray on so i used a foam paint brush. i wish it was a little thinnner so it i can really get betwm the unseen areas. thats my only compliant with this stuff.

here's a trick: dump the can in boiling water. it will thin out real nice and you will be able to get it into the seams better.

does this stuff dry? or does it remain tacky and accumulate dirt/grime?

I think its gonna collect dirt right now since the stuff is about the consistency of hair gel. But I went ahead a aplied it now instead since I have time. Also it will wash off so no worries.

Since its a waxy substance, it'll harden once the winter comes.

My entire underbody is covered with motor oil, that should work and best of all I didn't have to do anything except keep on going with a 20 year old oil pan gasket.

Transmission oil is better, make sure that your output seal on the tranny leaks too for maximum rust protection. If it isn't leaking much poke some holes in it.
