car delays

My e30 when i press the gas some times the car will lag it, will stay around 2 grand then i press the pedal down more will clear up . Any Suggestions

My suspicions (in order of relevance) would be; intake leaks, AFM, fuel system, throttle body/cable.

Vacuum leak. Does it chug up at lower rpm but not when you get going (3k+)?

Exactly like after 2 thousand rpm it clears up. i changed all the hoses for the intake. there was cracks in the previous hoses which caused the car not to stay on. my car is the m20 engine 87'.
