fuel injectors

The owner before me did the 2.7 stoker conversion with schrick 272 cam and also s50 fuel injectors. My question is about these injectors. He didn't add the bigger AFM so are they just spittin extra gas without doin much gain because the air/gas mixture is uneven? It seems i'm gettin crap for gas mileage and i think this might be why. but more importantly if i switch back to stock injectors will i lose power or will it be about the same but just not waste gas?

Could it be the stroker motor and Schrick cam causing the bad mileage? How bad is it anyways?

Your fuel ratio is usually controlled by the oxygen sensor so I don't think the injectors matter much. At cold start or wide open throttle the oxygen sensor is ignored, so that would be the only concern for extra fuel.
