    SI Batteries

So my SI batteries are toast I'm pretty sureon my 318is. I replaced them once on my 325iX. I picked up two sets when I soldered them in the SI circuit board. The other set of batteries have been hanging around for a couple of years. Is it fair to say this new set that is 2 years old and has been sitting around are probable NO GOOD because they are recharge-ables and haven't been used? I'd hate to put the new(old) ones in and find out they FAIL and then go through the whole deal once again.

    Thanks

Doug, you can purchase brand new ones for cheap here http://tnrbatteries.com/cr14250sebr.html

But sometimes the board is bad even when you replace the batteries, you just have to give it a shot.

If the batteries will take and hold a charge they are still good.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Correct, but the board can still be bad even if the batteries check out ok.
