    Car wont start

Ok so my buddy Sam came over to my house car working fine, then he realized his Oil Service Light came on so gave him the wire I used to reset mine with, he jumped the wrong ones and then did the right ones. Now his car wont start, it turns over but wont start(no spark or no fuel?), what could be the problem, we are in a bind here.

      First check fuses.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

Already checked fuses, relays, vacuum lines, fuel lines, ignition, coil, fuel pump...seems like no fuel or spark(need to check for sure) so it has to be the computer if thats the case, right?

Do you know what pins were shorted by mistake. Knowing that would help a lot in figuring what is wrong now.

Did you check the 3 relays underneath a little black cover on the driver's side engine compartment (very near the air box and cruise control unit? Bentley's indicates that relays 1&2 are easy to get fried.

Try swapping his computer in if it's also an I car. Pin 18 is the Motronic so you could have hit that and toasted something but it's still unlikely as most signals are ground signals in my experience. The most likely scenario is that you fried the fusable link in the trunk. The ECU, Diagnostic Plug and all of the injection electronics take power from that side of the block so that's where I'd look first. You should have 12 volts on both sides of the block, if not, you've found your problem.
