Help with repairing my windscreen wipers.

The splines on my wiper motor shafts ( where the arms bolt to) are stripped. How do I go about replacing to motors. Also, when i turn off my wipers, they stop in the up position. How can I make them stop in the down position?
Any useful advice will be much appreciated.

i had the same problem, you can try and put a lock washer on after the linkage then the nut, if you can get it on tight enough it will hold it. and as far as getting it to stop on the bottom you need to watch how everyhting works and you should be able to figure it out its really hard to explain witout looking at it move.
