Bad Si board - will it affect the temp gauage.

Since I came back from vacation my tach is not working all the time and the inspection light is on.

Also - my temp gauage stoped working after I did my m30 swap. I was wondering if the temp gauage not working could be caused by a bad SI board or batteries?

My temp just went dead - it's moves to the lowest position (full cold) and stays there.

My tach does a funny little "jump" when I shut the car off - about a sec after I pull the key out.

      Does that mean anything?

my symptoms right before i changed my batteries were the tach would cut out or "jump" periodically, along with the temp gauge flickering. Before i changed the batteries the MPG feature never worked...now it does.

the whole right side of my guage cluster is out, so im assuming when i change out the SI batteries it will come back.

Mine does that too but all of my gauges are functioning.
