i have an 87 325e that got t boned by a police cruiser so im gonna swap all the good stuff into another shell.. motor, tranny, you know, the whole drivetrain.. only thing is the other shell is a 84 318i.. is it possible? will it directly swap over? bothe cars are manual tranny. any help would be appreciated... let me have your ... thanks

Pretty much everything should swap directly, but the suspension on the 318 will be softer as the spring rates are set for the lighter weight of the drivetrain.
You are obligated to elaborate on your story though...

hahaha cool! well ya see what had happened was i pulled up to an intersection to make a right turn.. i stoped like a foot after the stop sign and looked to my left.. less than a second after i looking all i saw was a police cruiser about to t bone me. i had just enough time to drop the clutch and jump foward before he t boned my door. he ended up taking out my whole drivers side quarter panel, ramped up a curb, went through a brick wall and stopped in the front yard of a house.if i had'nt dropped the clutch i would probably be dead.. he was haulin ass! doin like 70 with no lights on, in a 55 in the slow lane thats like 3 car lengths wide and he was in the bike lane.. long story short, he swerved into me instead of around me because he thought i was gonna keep goin, but since i was stopped he just drove right through me.. like 17 cops showed up within a minute and all pinned it on me.. cop got fucked up and had to be taken away in an ambulance.. he deserved it! oh yeah and he had a ride along in the car with him.. im pretty sure he was trying to show off for him.. anyways i got screwed and got nothing out of it.. and i had to pay for all damages and medical bills.. well my insurance did.. is that elaborated enough?
