    high rpm power loss

okay today i put in new engine mounts the car ran great before so once i finished i took the car out for a spin it started and ran well then once the oil warmed up i tryed to rev the car out and it started spuddering around 5500ish the car will spudder sometimes but it will also run out correctly half the time it will always revup with the clutch in? LMK if you have any suggestions
no vaccuum leaks relays are good i did some research and there is no play in the vibration dampener.

A clue as to where to look for the cause lies in the behavior of the tach. If you see the tach taking a large drop when the motor looses power you are looking at a problem relating to the DME. It the tach doesn't drop the cause is probably the fuel system.
The car makes it possible, but the driver makes it happen.

i replaced the fuel filter today and it fixed the problem for a couple of hours and then it started doing it occasionally and not as bad i think im going to try a FPR since it feels like a fuel proplem and my tach stopped working last week and its not the fuse so any help would be appreciated

I have similar symptoms. Im going to change the FRP and maybe the fuel pump IN the tank ( low flow pump). PO also installd Silber Bosch plugs. Going to swap to the NGK rated one temp rating lower. ( Have cooler thermostat installed).

My wires probably need replacing, yours might as well, also rotor, cap and coil perhaps. If its not fuel, could be spark.
