    Massive loss of coolant

    hello people,

my car is experiencing massive loss of coolant somewhere in the engine bay, its not the hoses, checked that, its not the radiator, there are small puddles on the floor beneath the engine. the coolant tank is completely empty after like 20-30 mins of driving. the temperature gauge reads normal. has anyone of you people out there had a problem like this? need advice.

    thanks

Run the car when parked and look to see if it leaks coolant from the middle ish area of the car, behind the rad. If it does its your water pump as stated above.

      Sold it.

My 325ia did that when the water pump went. Boy did it ever.

I had radiator coolant leakage a while ago and it was because the gasket on the throttle body plate disinigrated. I went to kuni bmw and got a new gasket for about 2bucks, fixed the problem right up.
