    AFM issue ... 91 ix

most likely this is a dumb question ... but here goes

So I was checking my AFM the other day and I noticed that the flap does not always stop flush, it sometimes goes past its so called "zero mark" and stops after it. To me this seems like a faulty AFM and might be causing/part of my occasional erratic idle (Bentley was unclear on this), just want to make sure with all you experts over here.

    Cheers ...

I'm no expert on these cars but I would say that could cause idle problems. Could it maybe be a bad spring in the flap mechanism?

@325ix - not sure if you can even open the thing up to do so ...
@Adrian_Visser - changing it is the easy way, just wanted to see if it made sense to anyone, or if someone had a similar issue before and what their fix was ....

            cheers
