1997 328i tranny question

Hi Guy's
I'm buying a 1997 328i motor that was an automatic.. What do I need to do to convert it to a five or six speed? Also what is your opinion of this motor with 111,000 miles on it for 250.00.

Very good price on the motor, have you confirmed it with carfax already? or pulled the valve cover to see how clean it is?
