I have an original UK spec E30 M3 cluster in my car. It has red needles from the factory. The speedo reads up to 160mph, and the tacho reads to 8K (useful with the S50B32 Euro engine). Being from the M3, it also has Oil temp in place of the Econometer thingy. All the warning lights are the symbols, not text.

As far as I'm aware, no UK clusters had the Check engnie light. My car certainly has no wiring for it. I'm pretty sure the electronics are all the same though.

    Ian.
ah thats nice.... do you have a pic???.... i bet I could get a UK 325 cluster... swap in the m3 tach paint the needles red(since the factory ones dont illuminate anyway) and put in my VDO gauges and it would be exactily by what i need/am looking for...you guys think that would work alright???

thanx for all the info guys... im trying to get all these little details figured out before i rip out my eta in may

I need the M3 tacho, mine pegs the 7000 one.

Just some FYI, a cluster I got from adam hambly the electronics had the same part numbers on the fuel, temp, and mobo. The speedo number was different but it would have to be since the odo was calibrated for metric.
          Im now E30less.
